Sea Salt & Kelp Soap, Lavender + Peppermint

This salt water soap feels like you're at the spa! Traditionally called a soleseife or brine bar, these bars are made by adding sea salt to the water and lye mixture. The result is a creamy, almost lotion-like lather. These are hard, dense bars that get very smooth with use, but they are not scratchy. They almost feel like you're lathering up with a smooth river rock! To up the spa feeling, the maker added kelp powder and a refreshing blend of peppermint and lavender essential oil. The colors in this bar are all natural and come from french green clay and indigo powder.

SCENT
This soap is scented with a gorgeous essential oil bend of Peppermint and Lavender. This gives it that invigorating kick from the peppermint, but a relaxing undertone from the lavender. The kelp does give a bit of a faint ocean scent to the bar as well, but it is mostly overpowered by the essential oils.

TIPS FOR EXTENDING THE LIFE OF YOUR SOAP 

Place your soap in a dish that drains (not flat on the tile or in a non-draining dish!) and ensure that it doesn't get wet between uses. This is optional, but it will definitely make your soap last longer.
